A Bigger Possibility
EmpowHER Africa was founded after years of seeing the potential, resilience, and brilliance of African women entrepreneurs, and also the structural, cultural, and systemic barriers that too often hold them back.
We saw women building extraordinary businesses, creating jobs, and solving real problems in their communities, often with limited access to the resources, networks, and support they needed to grow. We also saw how much more was possible when women had the right tools, community, and opportunities.
EmpowHER was created to be part of the solution, to help more women move from surviving to scaling, and to ensure that their success translates into lasting impact for their families, their communities, and the continent.
